Shafrira has been directing long and short term travel to Israel and Poland for as long as she can remember! She was in charge of recruiting and training educators, madrichim, for many years and has run many successful Hadracha seminars herself. Shifira currently works with delegations of adults and with schools from England, Australia, Germany and the rest of the world.
She has a B.A. in Political Science and Jewish History from Bar Ilan University and a teacher’s diploma.
Shafrira is from Rishon L’zion and currently lives in Jerusalem with her husband and daughter.
Shmulik has been involved in formal and informal education since his teenage years. From Bnei Akiva and jewish agency seminars all over the world to becoming Head of Informal Education and a teacher at the Netiv Meir Yeshiva High School in Jerusalem. Now, he oversees the planning of Israel trips for most of the Jewish high schools in North America.
For the last 15 years he has been involved in educational tourism, planning, creating and running Israel travel programs for a wide range of clients. Born in Shilo and currently lives in Neve Daniel with his wife and six children.
Arnon has dedicated his life to connecting the Jewish people of the Diaspora to Israel. After completing his yeshiva studies and army service, Arnon earned a teachers diploma and a degree in Educational Administration and Political Science from Bar Ilan University. At the same time he began working in educational tourism, bringing thousands of groups on Israel tours during his 25 years in the field. With experience directing security, operations and education for many groups, he gained insight into the comprehensive needs of each program and the specific preferences of each client and organization.
Arnon established The Jewish Journey in 2010 in order to raise the educational tourism bar and provide top of the line tours, service and logistics for all who seek the perfect Israel trip. Born in Gush Etzion, Arnon currently lives in Neve Daniel, Gush Etzi
on, with his wife and 5 kids.
Dikla recruits, screens and trains the Jewish Journey’s tour guides, logistic coordinators and social guides. Dikla began her own Jewish journey in informal education as an Israel tour guide. She understood the importance and value of these trips for Diaspora Jews and continued to grow in the field, touring varied program for abroad Jews. Dikla has a B.A in Technology Math and a M.A in International Affairs. She was born in Mikve Yisroel and lives in Jerusalem.
Gitit was born in a kibbutz in northern Israel and grew up in Gush Etzion. In her military service she was a commander and taught soldiers who made Aliya Hebrew and Zionism .Before and after her IDF service she studied Jewish studies at the Seminary for two years. Before joining the Jewish Journey team she was a group moderator between religious and secular people at Gesher, and later worked as a teacher for Jewish History, Bible and Judaism at Nativ the IDF conversion course for soldiers.
Gitit holds a BA in History and Literature and an MA in Public Policy and Government, from Hebrew University. She is married to Shay and a mother of four kids, 2 dogs and 2 hamsters.
Gitit works on a Jewish Journey in the VIP department and specializes in family, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, and community trips and she is looking forward to help you plan the family trip you always dreamed of.
Originally from Beit El, Aharoni has an MBA from Ariel University and a BA in social work. He’s been working in the filed for eight years after spending a few years helping with mentally ill adults re-integrate into society. Additionally, he has experience with Bnei Akiva summer camps abroad. Aharoni lives in Alon Shvut with his wife Nehara.
